Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, based in Northbrook, IL, announced that it will officially make Chandler home to its seventh location in the Phoenix area. The famous deep dish pizzeria is slated to open its newest location in Spring 2022, currently under construction, at 2815 S. Alma School Rd. in Chandler, AZ. The new space is located in Las Tiendas Village in a multi-tenant retail building, adjacent to Sprouts Farmer’s Market and Home Goods, at the Northeast corner of Alma School Road and Queen Creek Road in the Southeast Valley.
Lou Malnati’s opened its first restaurant in Phoenix in 2016, followed by locations in Arcadia, Scottsdale, Glendale, and most recently in Mesa in August 2021 and Gilbert in December 2021. The 1,900 square foot space will not include a dining room, but will offer carryout and delivery. While the menu is highlighted by the legendary deep dish pizza, it also offers thin crust along with delicious appetizers, salads, pastas and desserts. The new store will offer easy curbside pick-up, no-contact delivery, and drop off catering services for hungry fans in the Chandler area.

The company will hire approximately 50 local employees and is looking to fill various positions including delivery drivers, kitchen crew and phone staff. The store plans to hold a hiring event in the coming weeks and is currently hiring and holding interviews via phone or zoom.
