Arizona Boardwalk announced the addition of the Museum of Illusions Scottsdale to its exciting line-up of attractions at the entertainment destination. The state-of-the-art museum, set to open this fall, features over 60 exhibits using mind-bending optical illusions, holograms, and interactive illusion rooms that will delight and amaze visitors of all ages.

“Museum of Illusions is an immersive, astonishing experience and is the perfect addition to Arizona Boardwalk’s diverse family-friendly entertainment options,” said Arizona Boardwalk’s Chief Marketing Officer and Managing Partner Ran Knishinsky. “Both locals and tourists turn to Arizona Boardwalk for family entertainment, and as we continue to seek big and bold ideas to bring to the property, we look forward to welcoming Museum of Illusions to the destination.”

Tricking the eye, the exhibits in the Museum of Illusions come to life when visitors step into the scene—from walking on walls to defying gravity. But beyond the photo opportunities of these wild optical illusions, holograms, props, and vibrant backdrops, this museum is much more than a social influencer’s paradise. The attraction also includes an educational component, ensuring visitors learn about vision, perception, the human brain, and science.  This pivotal element makes it easier for guests to understand why they can see the exhibits in a way that their brain cannot understand.

“As with many of our attractions at Arizona Boardwalk, including OdySea Aquarium and Butterfly Wonderland, ‘edutainment’ – educating through entertainment – is part of the experience and it’s a big plus,” says Knishinsky. “The Museum of Illusions incorporates this concept so well; parents, grandparents and even teachers are really going to be drawn to the fun and educational experience at this new attraction.”

Started in 2015 by Roko Zivkovic and Tomislav Pamukovic, two friends in Zagreb, Croatia, the Museum of Illusions has spread to over 35 locations in 24 countries around the world, including the United StatesCanadaSpainItalyFranceGermanyChina, Korea, India and more. Popular domestic locations include New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Orlando, and Philadelphia.

Museum of Illusions Scottsdale is one of three new attractions coming to Arizona Boardwalk this fall.  Details regarding the additional two attractions will be released soon. For more information on the Museum of Illusions, as well as updates on the opening, please visit http://www.museumofillusions.us.
