Today, locally owned and operated restaurant group Pita Jungle opens its 21st location in partnership with SSP America, a division of SSP Group, a leading operator of food and beverage brands in travel locations worldwide. SSP America will manage and operate the new 1,200 square-foot restaurant located at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Terminal 4 post security. This is Pita Jungle’s second restaurant opening in five months with a new location in Queen Creek, Arizona.

“Pita Jungle is ecstatic to extend its The Art of Eating Healthy® to Sky Harbor travelers–delicious healthful meals that are crafted from scratch,” says Bassel Osmani, co-founder of Pita Jungle. “Call it our farewell, or our welcome to the Valley of the Sun, a Pita Jungle bite will set you off to a great day and a great trip.”

Pita Jungle’s new airport location is near Gates B1-B14 next to Sweet Republic and Matt’s Big Breakfast. It is a fast-casual version of their well-established street-side concept, in a format that lends itself to the needs of the busy traveler. The unit will serve a breakfast and lunch/dinner menu featuring the popular Mediterranean dishes for which Pita Jungle has been known for the past 23 years.

In July of 2017, Pita Jungle opened its Queen Creek, Arizona location at 20491 E Rittenhouse Road. With the new airport addition, there will be 17 Pita Jungle’s in the Phoenix Metro area, two in Tucson, one in Flagstaff and one in Newport Beach, California.
