Arizona PBS presents Eight’s Great FoodFest, featuring a variety of local restaurants, cooking demonstrations and more, Sun. Nov. 1, at Trilogy® at Vistancia® in Peoria, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Patrons can experience cooking-in-action; meet chefs; discover prized tips and techniques and sample culinary offerings from more than a dozen restaurants. Eight’s Great FoodFest showcases local favorite dining spots and includes a one-ticket-for-all-food-&-drink sampling experience including wine and craft beers. Also joining the festivities is the host of the Arizona PBS series Check, Please! Arizona Chef Robert McGrath.
James Beard Foundation award-winner McGrath, who hosts the station’s number-one locally produced show, will share his culinary techniques on the SubZero/Wolf Stage. Joining the Arizona PBS talent on the demonstration stage are local favorites Tempo Urban Bistro, Betty’s Nosh and Squid Ink.
