For many, the March college basketball tournament is one of the most exciting and anticipated sports events of the year. Sixty-eight teams will compete in March Madness — a single elimination tournament over three weeks. Finding a place to watch is a top priority.

Four local Valley venues are offering food and drink specials and great viewing opportunities!

Uptown Alley

Uptown Alley has a new $5 March Mayhem menu that will be available during games! The menu features eight new dishes and 75 cent wings!  A few of the new menu items include:

• South of the Border Mac & Cheese –  mac & cheese, seasoned beef, pico de gallo, crispy tortilla strips

• Bacon jalapeno street dog – grilled quarter pounder hot dog, sweet corn, creamy ranch, jalapenos, bacon and cilantro.

• BBQ pork nachos – hand pulled BBQ pork, cheddar jack cheese, pickled onions, pico de gallo and jalapenos. 

Commemorative mugs are also available for purchase $9 per mug for domestic beer, $10 per mug for imported beer with $3 and $4 refills through April 8. 

Uptown Alley is 60,000 square feet of fun. The entertainment destination in Surprise boasts 40 bowling lanes, two-story laser tag, arcade games, billiards, a sports lounge with a 10 foot projector, multiple large-screen TVs and more! Twin Peaks

Twin Peaks is opening its three Valley locations early at 9 a.m. for game viewing starting March 21. The sports lodge will be serving its brunch menu both during the week and on the weekends. The brunch menu includes breakfast tacos, chicken and waffles and steak & eggs. Drink specials include $3 dollar mimosas & $3 Bloody Mary’s from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., and mix and match buckets of beer for $20.
