Sugo Bistro, an original new Italian restaurant concept created by Arizona chef Robert Conneway, will hold its grand opening on Saturday, April 29. The Italian scratch kitchen occupies the ground floor retail space in SOHO Scottsdale, a live/work loft and townhome community on the southwest corner of Bahia Drive and N. 92nd Street, just down the street from WestWorld.

Sugo, which means “sauce” in Italian, features made-from-scratch dishes including wood fired pizzas, handmade pastas and fresh bruschetta boards, in a comfortable, neighborhood atmosphere. Homemade dishes are complemented by unique, Italian-themed cocktails and a list of exquisite Italian wines with the goal of providing guests with a tour of the best Italian flavors.
“We look forward to celebrating our grand opening and sharing our restaurant with the Scottsdale community,” said Conneway. “We aim to provide a unique dining experience to our guests with every dish made from scratch using the best local ingredients.”
The contemporary restaurant seats 120 and offers more than 2,700 sq. ft. of indoor-outdoor space enabled by multiple garage doors. Guests can relax on the expansive patio, which features a fire pit, or sip on signature cocktails at the large bar.
This is Sugo Bistro’s first location. The restaurant will be open daily for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Takeout, delivery and catering also are available.
Sugo Bistro can be found at: 16580 N 92nd Street, #100, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. For the full menu and more information, visit https://www.sugobistro.com.
