Thirsty Thursday: Grassroots Kitchen & Tap

Scottsdale’s new restaurant, Grassroots Kitchen & Tap prides itself on its high quality food and drinks. Owner Christopher Collins explains that he only provides the best quality items to compliment his food while also promoting a social hour (rather than a happy hour) to get locals to be social in a comfortable environment.
Collins says all of his food and drinks are fresh and simple because quality and speed are important to his guests. Be sure to try the popular Farmer’s Vegetable Chop Salad for a light dinner or the salmon or pork belly if you are a meat-eater. Pair these plates with the Pink Cougar, Cadillac Margarita or the Georgia Peach for light, fruity and fresh drinks.
All of the food and drinks were simple, yet unique, and Collins is a delight to his customers, making sure to make a presence and make his guests comfortable.

Though Collins didn’t provide exact proportions for the following drink recipes, he did share what’s in his signature spring-summer cocktails:

Cadillac Margarita:
-Homemade sour mix
-Orange juice
-Egg whites
-Camarena tequila

Pink Cougar:
-Chamomile syrup
-Grapefuit vodka

Georgia Peach:
– 360 Georgia Peach Vodka
-Appleton’s Rum
-Ice tea
-Peach puree
