Inspired by the zinc-topped bars found all over Paris, Zinqué has become an iconic place in Venice, West Hollywood and Newport Beach, California, where local artists, professionals and, oftentimes, celebrities, come and go at all hours of the day to drink coffee, enjoy a glass of wine, eat, read, work, and socialize. Owner Emmanuel Dossetti now plans to create that same environment at Scottsdale Fashion Square.

“Scottsdale needs this kind of neighborhood hub,” Dossetti explains. “A place that is personal, where you know the staff, and where you can go at all times of the day: on your way to work, for lunch, on your way home from work, or late at night. Zinqué is a place where it’s easy to meet people while enjoying simple, delicious food and drinks.”

Zinqué’s new location in the luxury wing of Scottsdale’s Fashion Square will be an oasis in the desert, located at the mall’s new entrance. The indoor/outdoor space will be aesthetically designed to lend scene to endless conversations and late-night discussions, creating a nurturing space that invites guests to stop, sit, and linger. Inside, Zinqué will bring the best of its award-winning design from the Venice location with a beautiful bar, wooden tables, and stunning wrought-iron windows. As in Venice, West Hollywood, and Newport Beach, a DJ might spin some chill-out tunes on a Sunday afternoon. There will also be the beloved special events such as Paella Night and Moules-Frites Night.

Zinqué habitués will be able to indulge in the famously addictive breakfast sandwich (egg, tomato, basil, aged Gruyère) or tuna tartare tartine on toasted Poilâne bread from Paris. For lunch and dinner, gourmet sandwiches, salads, as well as the now famous “le bowl” will be offered. The full menu will be available until 11PM, and flatbreads, quiches, fries, and bites will be served until close at midnight/weekdays or 2 AM/ weekends.

The food program will be focused on fresh and exceptional products. As at all Zinqué locations, bread is imported from the famous Poilâne Bakery in Paris, and coffee is from La Colombe, the world-renowned coffee roasters. Zinqué serves cheeses that are not on a typical “cheese plate,” such as the amazing Epoisses from Burgundy (known as the “king of cheeses”). The same attention is given to charcuterie items and oysters. With an emphasis on organic and sustainable wines, the extensive wine list is carefully selected and focuses on small and unique producers from around the world.
