On September 16th, 2026, Phoenix would finally experience a nice day with some rain. Some lucky concertgoers had an even better day if they chose to see Ryan Beatty at the Crescent Ballroom. Beatty continued his Arms Over Armor tour by stopping in Phoenix for a night that many had been waiting years for.

Starting the night off was girlsweetvoiced. She is a new talent who is on her first-ever tour, and maybe her 7th ever performance. All I can say is “wow”. I had listened to her before and loved her music, but I did not expect her to be this good live. She is a true natural in this art and proved it tonight. The crowd was silent with respect while she beautifully sang songs such as “A Minute, A Mile”, “Tonight”, and “Spearmint”. I was happy to see many fans singing along with her, giving her the recognition she deserved.
Ryan Beatty
Ryan Beatty took the stage around 9pm. He started off by folding a paper airplane and throwing it into the crowd before singing “Secret Language”. This was a nod to his music video for the lead single of his new album, and it began a night of many emotions for the crowd. Beatty completely took over this intimate venue. He stated that he had not played a venue this small on the tour yet, so it was nice for him to see everyone’s faces. Everyone who was in this room knows and loves Beatty, so it was nice that he could see and reciprocate that love back to the audience.
Beatty continued performing for about an hour and a half. He sang songs such as “Casino,” “Cinnamon Bread,” “Bruises Off The Peach,” and the majority of his new album, “Sweet Fortune.” Beatty’s vocals live are almost better than the recorded ones, which is not something we see often these days. My only complaint about this show was truly that it was not long enough.

Closing thoughts
After years of waiting, Ryan Beatty finally stepped onto a stage in Arizona during his Arms Over Armor tour and gave Phoenix a night they won’t forget. This show had tears, laughter, community, and everything in between. girlsweetvoiced proved that she is meant to be a star, and Beatty performed as the artist that we all know he is. If there is a show from this tour stopping near you I highly encourage going to see these artists, you won’t regret it.
