Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix opens for the season on March 13. Arizona’s largest waterpark has more than 30 thrilling attractions that range from North America’s first gravity-defying dueling water roller coaster Bahama Blaster, to Splashwater Beach a refreshing interactive water play structure with an overhead tipping bucket for both kids and the kids at heart.

The newest addition to the park is Paradise Island, featuring a 12,000-square-foot activity pool with more than a quarter of a million gallons of clear, blue water to keep guests cool in the scorching Phoenix heat. It also has a zero-depth entry for little ones and a unique water basketball court. The entire expansion covers nearly 42,000 square feet and includes extensive lounge seating, comfortable shade, a food location and restrooms. The park is also home to events throughout the season like Memorial Day and Fourth of July Fireworks.

The park will be open for Spring Break March 13 through March 17. Then starting March 23 and 24, the park will be open weekends and expanding to seven days a week beginning May 18.

The park continues to hire and train 500 seasonal positions ranging from lifeguards, food and beverage staff, cashiers, and security to EMT’s, cooks and supervisors.
