Surprise Towne Center & Marketplace announced that it has secured two new tenants, in addition to renewing the leases for 10 tenants totaling 146,000 square feet of space – all amidst the changing retail landscape as a result of COVID-19.
ATL Wings made its Surprise Towne Center & Marketplace debut in June, opening between Allstate and Tom Yum Thai at the northeast corner of the Towne Center side of the shopping center. The Valley-based wing phenoms known for fresh, never frozen chicken wings tossed in a variety of more than 20 homemade sauces, makes a great addition to Surprise Towne Center & Marketplace’s local restaurant lineup, including Tom Yum Thai and Hot Bagels & Deli.
The shopping center will also welcome Bath & Body Works in fall 2020, just in time for Surprise residents to snag the retailer’s signature seasonal fall and winter scents ahead of the holidays. The 5,000 square-foot space is located between Target and Bed Bath & Beyond on the southwest corner of the Marketplace side of the shopping center.
In addition to the new tenants, Surprise Towne Center & Marketplace is maintaining its extensive roster of tenants, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ten tenants have renewed their leases, including Barnes & Noble, Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Michael’s, Best Reflexology, Minh T. Nails, Ross, Sprint, Streets of New York and West Coast Dental.
“The long-term economic success of our shopping center not only relies on new tenant activity, but renewing the existing tenants at the property that shoppers know and love,” said Rick Hearn, Vice President of Leasing at Vestar. “We know ATL Wings, Bath & Body Works and those tenants with renewed leases will ensure Surprise Towne Center & Marketplace is an exciting destination for Surprise residents for years to come.”
Surprise Towne Center & Marketplace is located at 13722 W. Bell Rd., Surprise. To learn more about the shopping center and get regular updates, visit www.surprisetcmp.com or follow on Facebook.
