Some of the most celebrated names in jazz will take the stage in Downtown Phoenix during The Nash’s 2026-2027 season, with a featured artist lineup that includes legendary bassist Ron Carter, trumpeter Jeremy Pelt, saxophonists Charles McPherson and Tia Fuller and pianist Renee Rosnes.
The season brings together established jazz masters and acclaimed artists from across the country for performances at The Nash, 110 E. Roosevelt St. The featured lineup complements a full calendar of performances by Arizona jazz musicians, emerging artists, student musicians, jam sessions and other programs throughout the season.
Among the season highlights is a rare collaboration featuring Carter with pianist Donald Vega and Phoenix’s Lewis Nash. The season also includes a three-day celebration of The Nash’s anniversary and a Jazz Women’s Weekend bringing together performances, education and opportunities for female jazz students and musicians.

John Clayton: Ray Brown Tribute

Bassist, composer, arranger and bandleader John Clayton celebrates his mentor, legendary bassist Ray Brown. Clayton’s career has included collaborations with artists ranging from Diana Krall and Paul McCartney to Whitney Houston, along with decades of work as a performer, composer and educator.
Jeremy Pelt

Trumpeter Jeremy Pelt has established himself as one of the leading voices of his generation. A prolific recording artist, Pelt has released more than two dozen albums as a leader.
