#9 Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (2009)

Science, food, and an experiment gone wrong, the presence of these tools in a movie is a guarantee that the said movie is destined to succeed. 2009’s animated sci-fi comedy features Flint Lockwood who creates a machine that can turn water into food. 

However, the machine soon becomes smart and starts causing food storms. This prompts Flint to destroy the machine and restore peace. If you ask us, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs ranks high on the list of great kids movies on Netflix. 

#10 Hop (2011)

When animals play relatable characters, the movie becomes even more watchable. This is exactly why 2011’s Hop is enjoyed by kids around the world to this day. This movie follows the journey of EB, a bunny who has no interest in becoming the Easter Bunny and would rather pursue his hobby of becoming a successful drummer.
