Delta Dental of Arizona promotes Heather Mollon

Delta Dental of Arizona announced the internal promotion of Heather Mollon to its management team. In the newly created role of director of account management, Mollon will focus her wealth of knowledge and experience to strategically engage internal resources to bring the best possible experience to Delta Dental clients. 

She will lead a team of 6 account executives serving the dental carrier’s various segments of group clients with 2 to 50,000+ employees.

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services promotes Tiffany Zid

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services (SB&H), an innovative leader in behavioral health, announced that Tiffany Zid has been promoted to Chief Compliance Officer. Zid most recently served SB&H as its Vice President of Compliance and Risk Management, a position she held since 2015. In her new role, Zid will be responsible for overseeing risk management, compliance, clinical records, utilization management/quality management, licensing and credentialing.

During her tenure at SB&H, Zid also served from 2012 to 2015 as Vice President of Agave Health, Inc. where she managed the financial, clinical and operations for all agency programs located within 14 communities in the State of New Mexico. Zid is certified in healthcare compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association and is also a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.

MRA Associates announces new partners in 2019

MRA Associates, one of the Valley’s leading independent investment and wealth management firms, recently announced that Eric Ensign, Evan Judge, and Will Froelich have all been promoted to partner.

Eric Ensign joined MRA Associates in 2011 and was instrumental in creating the firm’s tax practice. In his new role as partner, Ensign provides investment advisory, tax planning, and wealth management services to families and their businesses. Ensign earned a Master of Taxation degree from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University (ASU). Prior to graduate school, he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Finance and Accountancy, from ASU. Ensign is a Certified Public Accountant in Arizona and a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. 

Evan Judge joined MRA Associates in 2013, and in his new role as partner, Judge provides investment and wealth management advice to high net worth families, individuals, institutions, and foundations. Judge is a member of the Financial Planning Association’s Phoenix chapter and a member of Suns Charities 88. He earned a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Finance from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management. Evan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a CFA® Charterholder. 

Will Froelich has more than 12 years of experience in the financial industry. As partner, Froelich works with client families on a variety of wealth management issues. His primary professional focus is on investments and portfolio management. Froelich serves on both the Finance Council and Investment Council for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix. He earned a Master of Science in Management with a concentration of finance as well as a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management. He is a CFA® Charterholder and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

The firm has also announced four additional promotions in the new year. 

Ryan Penniman has been promoted to client advisor, recognizing him for the level at which he has been demonstrating his ability, skill, and contribution. Penniman’s primary focus is on developing financial planning strategies to include cash flow planning, estate planning, tax planning, risk management, and other disciplines that make up holistic wealth management. Penniman graduated from the Master of Taxation program at ASU in May 2013. He also earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Finance and Accountancy, from the W.P. Carey School of Business at ASU, where he graduated Cum Laude. Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant in Arizona.

Natalie Phillips has been promoted to tax operations manager. In her new role, she manages the daily operational functions of the tax department by establishing and providing appropriate procedures, workflows, and technology advancements.

Ryan Dignan has been promoted to senior client associate. In his new position, Dignan prepares and reviews individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns, performs tax research, and participates in wealth planning. He earned a Master of Taxation degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the W.P. Carey School of Business at ASU.

Trevor Moore has been promoted to senior client associate. In this new role, he will provide support to private wealth clients in a number of different areas including investment advisory, wealth management, and tax planning.
