WESTMARC is seeking nominations for its 24th Annual Best of the West Awards Dinner scheduled for Thursday, November 10th, at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
WESTMARC is accepting nominations in three categories: Economic Engine, Quality of Life Enhancement, and Excellence in Innovation. The deadline for nominations is 10 pm on Friday, September 2nd. Nominations can be submitted online. The cost for each nomination is $25 for members and $50 for non-members.
“The Best of the West Awards recognize outstanding contributions to the image, lifestyle, and economy in the West Valley,” said Sintra Hoffman, WESTMARC’s President and CEO. “WESTMARC is proud to honor these outstanding individuals and organizations making a great impact on the West Valley.”
Nominations are sought for individuals, organizations, businesses, facilities or programs representing interests in the West Valley.
- The Economic Engine Award recognizes individuals and organizations which have created a significant economic impact in the region. Nominees will be judged on economic impact in proportion to the size of the nominee or to the population.
- The Quality of Life Enhancement Award recognizes educational, community, arts and recreational programs, facilities, or leaders enhancing the quality of life in the West Valley.
- The Excellence in Innovation Award recognizes individuals and organizations demonstrating an innovative concept or fulfilling a need that preserves the region’s assets and resources, and creates an economic benefit for West Valley residents.
In addition to the three annual awards, WESTMARC will also present awards for West Valley Inspiration in Leadership and West Valley Regional Advancement.
