Locally owned and operated restaurant group Pita Jungle announces the opening of its 21st Arizona location at Grand Canyon University. The new restaurant, which will serve as a walk-up dining option for students and staff, will officially open on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. This is Pita Jungle’s third restaurant opening in the past two years including one at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (Terminal 4).

“We look forward to providing the GCU student body and staff with healthful and delicious culinary options that answer the various dietary needs of the busy and active lifestyles on a bustling campus,” says Bassel Osmani, co-founder of Pita Jungle.

Pita Jungle’s new campus location is a fast-casual version of their well-established street-side concept, in a format that lends itself to the needs of busy students. The unit will serve a condensed breakfast, lunch and dinner menu featuring the popular Mediterranean dishes for which Pita Jungle has been known for the past 25 years.

GCU’s 260-acre campus is home to approximately 20,500 students and more than 4,000 employees.

With the new GCU location, there will be 18 Pita Jungle’s in the Phoenix Metro area, two in Tucson, and one in Flagstaff.
