Arizona State University’s Del E. Webb School of Construction is hosting its annual Construction in Indian Country conference from April 17-19 at the Wigwam Arizona in Litchfield Park.

The three-day conference is the 14th annual Construction in Indian Country conference held by the university. There will be a golf tournament and an awards ceremony.

Some of the topics the event will cover include:

  • Guests on the Land: A talk about religious and cultural implications when developing on tribal lands as well as potential challenges and resolving disputes.
  • Sovereign Immunity: This topic will go over what standards apply with sovereign immunity and contract clauses.
  • Project delivery Methods: Master planning, and incorporating culture into design.
  • Lender Options: How to access capital for projects and bonding concerns.
