Anchored by Bashas’, Arizona’s hometown grocer, and a tree-lined street of shops, eateries and services adjacent to the Jackson and Davis Class A office buildings on 6.9 acres, Main Street at Verrado was developed by DMB Associates Inc. in 2008 and acquired by Main Street Core Properties, LLC in 2015. The 67,000-square-foot commercial hub recently reached full occupancy with the addition of Sol Power Solutions.

Herve Sarteau, President of Main Street Core Properties stated, “We are inherently proud of our investment in Main Street at Verrado, as it is such a special place! As Main Street has resonated so strongly with the Verrado community, we are in the process of launching a new 38,000-square-foot retail project adjacent to the Center on Main incorporating all the attributes and amenities that make Main Street so inviting.”

Sunrise Market at Village Street and Sunrise Lane in Verrado will mirror Main Street’s pedestrian-friendly, small-town America appeal, integrating modern architectural elements that pay homage to the West Valley’s agricultural heritage, along with greenery, trees and community spaces.

“President Herve Sarteau added, “As a family company, our goal is to own quality real estate for the long term. The alignment of our values and those of the Verrado community were immediately apparent, and have proven to be a great fit. We are committed to bring new retail and businesses that strengthen the community and connect with its spirit at Sunrise Market.”

Main Street Core Properties is a boutique developer with experience in commercial and residential real estate projects that span many countries, including China, Argentina, Mexico and across Europe. Bobbie Mastracci of Phoenix West Commercial is the designated leasing agent and Stacey Burstein of Main Street Real Estate Advisors will serve as property manager for the upcoming Sunrise Market.
