Empire Group of Companies, a leading Scottsdale-based developer, recently closed on 24.58 acres of land in Laveen. The developer paid approximately $10.3 million for the land situated at the southwest corner of 59th and South Mountain Avenues. Empire Group will develop the parcel into a build-for-rent community – Village at Carver Mountain. Plans are underway to break ground by late 2022.

Village at Carver Mountain will include 285 one- two- and three-bedroom single-story homes in a gated community that  includes smart technology and private landscaped backyards. Construction will begin by early 2023.

“This is a great location that will provide residents with easy access to downtown Phoenix and business and entertainment in the West Valley,” states Richard Felker, founding partner of Empire Group. “We have a number of build-for-rent projects in various stages of development and we are excited to add Carver Mountain to the mix.”

The transaction was handled by Brett Rinehart of Land Advisors Organization.
