The Arizona Builders Alliance (ABA) is pleased to announce that Tim Bee has been hired to be the next director for southern Arizona, succeeding Tom Dunn, who accepted the position as ABA’s new president in June.
Southern Arizona chairman Brian Barker, Barker Contracting, led the search committee which included current ABA board members and past chairs of southern Arizona. Mr. Barker commented,
“We searched for an experienced leader who has the skills and values that align with ABA’s mission and culture. As former vice president for government and community relations at the University of Arizona and president of the Arizona Senate, Tim has a strong history of collaboration with ABA on issues important to the industry. He brings a tremendous set of skills and relationships to this position.”
Tom Dunn, ABA president and CEO, stated, “Tim is a fixture in southern Arizona and will lead our efforts to new heights.”
“I couldn’t be more excited to join the ABA. As a third generation native of Tucson, I have a deep love for this community and have dedicated my career to its growth and development. The success of ABA members is critical to the prosperity of our community and state.” said Bee.
Bee will be responsible for membership services, government advocacy, community/media relations, workforce outreach, and education and workforce development.
