Agate Construction recently broke ground on a 20,000-square-foot Harley-Davison dealership located at 159th Avenue and McDowell Road in Goodyear. Roadrunner Harley-Davidson is scheduled for completion this fall to serve a growing customer base in the West Valley. The new dealership will include the Harley-Davidson Riding Academy Range on site with expert riding coaches to help create safer riders.

“We’re excited to open our southwest valley home to the local riders. We’re even more excited to grow with the City of Goodyear as we have watched it grow from afar. Our plan is to deliver the same award-winning level of customer service as we do at our Peoria location,” shared Eric Bushamie, General Manager and Managing Partner of Arrowhead & Roadrunner Harley-Davidson.  “This particular location will be the only visible location from I-10 in the Phoenix metro area. This is a long-standing recommendation from cross country travelers. Goodyear has also been on Harley-Davidson’s radar for a dedicated retail and full-service point.”

Situated along the heavily trafficked I-10 near the Loop 303 interchange, this new dealership is just one of the many businesses expanding to this part of metro Phoenix. This fast-growing area will soon be home to big-name tech companies as well as healthcare and medical campuses, attracting new residents and bringing high-wage jobs.

“Over the years I have heard countless sayings from loyal Harley fans, such as “never regret anything that makes you smile” and I can’t hide my smile as we welcome Roadrunner Harley-Davidson to the City of Goodyear,” said Mayor Georgia Lord. “The Harley-Davidson brand has a long history of being one of the most respected names in the motorcycle business and we look forward to a great partnership for many years.”

One of the unique features of this project is the “Jewel Box”; a two-story glass display case that will showcase Roadrunner Harley-Davidson’s motorcycles to the thousands of vehicles that travel along Interstate 10 each day. Architect Barry R. Barcus designed the custom feature along with the expansive showroom to highlight the incredible inventory that will be available when the dealership opens this fall; just a few months after the start of construction.

“Agate Construction and Agate Steel have developed a great relationship with Barry Barcus over the past year and half during the construction of several automotive dealership projects in Arizona and Nevada;  we’re very excited about the opportunity to work with Mr. Coulter, Eric Bushamie and the City of Goodyear on this exciting project with the goal of developing great relationships with them as well,” said Lou Primak, COO of Agate, Inc.

Agate Construction and Agate Steel are honored to partner with Chilton Properties, LLC and Barry R. Barcus Architects to deliver a successful project as Harley-Davidson continues to expand in the Phoenix market.
