The development of Grande Vita, a 300 million dollar medical and residential campus, will be breaking ground on May 21st in Mesa with Brycon Construction joining the project as the lead construction company. Their expertise in complex construction makes them the perfect fit for Grande Vita, a project that combines hospitality, recreation, commercial, and medical aspects.

Scott Dluzen, Vice President of Brycon, discusses why Brycon was interested in an opportunity to be a part of Grande Vita. “This project, more than any other that we have done in the past, shows the full capabilities of Brycon Construction. We are excited to have the opportunity to leave our mark on something that will make such a large impact on the city of Mesa,” said Dluzen.

Brycon has a rich history in construction services. After years of only cleanroom construction, Brycon expanded into a full service general construction and contracting services. Growing beyond their roots, the company has since expanded into Arizona and Nevada, and now work in a number of specialized construction services including: cleanroom solutions, hospitality, municipal, education research, industrial/manufacturing, office space, healthcare, and laboratory projects. Grande Vita will be a project where Brycon can combine their expertise in these fields as the project calls for hospitality, medical, office space, and commercial space.

The $300 Million project called Grande Vita, a BioCity Enterprise, and will allow seniors to “age in place” in a high tech, innovative environment. When completed, the integrated independent living facility will provide its residents with unique housing opportunities, skilled services, and recreational activities. Grande Vita will create an estimated 476 jobs and generate 38.6 million dollars in wages.

Groundbreaking for Grande Vita will take place on May 21st, 2019. Brycon has already been on site since last year and completed the first part of the overall project, which is the Residence Inn by Marriot, which is on site. That extended stay hotel will open to the public in May of 2019, just ahead of the official ground breaking on the campus.
