LGE Design Build will celebrate its 25th anniversary in May 2019. While the homegrown business is nearly a quarter-century old, the design-build firm is staying young with a series of updates that will keep it at the forefront of construction and design in the Valley.

LGE Design Build has grown revenue by 40 percent year over year since 2015, and increased its staff by 50 percent since 2016. A new LGE Design Build headquarters will house the firm’s 72 employees as the company continues to broaden its scope of services and expand into different markets.

LGE Design Build continues to offer several advantages over other local construction firms, including the full spectrum of design-build services with its own in-house architectural firm, LGE Design Group. Those in-house architectural talents will be highlighted as LGE unveils its new headquarters in May 2019 at 1200 N. 52nd St., Phoenix.

Wayne Bell, president of LGE Design Build, joined the executive leadership team in March 2018.

“When I first came to LGE Design Build, it was clear that something was distinctly different about the way this business operates,” Bell said. “From an employee culture of creative collaboration to a forward-thinking business plan, it’s clear that LGE is providing the essential building blocks for some of the Valley’s most exciting commercial real estate projects.”

In addition to helping businesses build their future, LGE Design Build is envisioning its own with a new logo and branding. The new branding conveys the sleek, modern design for which the business has been recognized. Since 2004, LGE Design Build has garnered more than 30 prestigious industry awards, including “Best Industrial Project” for MS Chandler Park and “Best Retail Project” for Whiskey Row Gilbert at the 2018 AZRE RED Awards.

Founded by David R. Sellers in 1994 with the idea of streamlining the design and construction process with a single source, LGE Design Build has designed more than 20 million square feet of commercial real estate and more than 1,000 total projects. Now with Sellers’ son, David E. Sellers, at the helm as CEO, LGE Design Build hopes to deliver an exceptional client experience for 25 more years and beyond.

In addition to serving its clients, LGE Design Build serves the community through the David R. Sellers Foundation, a nonprofit that donates to some of Arizona’s best-known and worthiest children’s organizations like Child Help, Child Crisis Arizona, Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, Arizona Helping Hands and many more.

LGE Design Build’s most buzzed-about properties include the upcoming Chauncey Lane in Scottsdale, The Collective in Tempe, Overstreet in downtown Chandler and The Grove in Scottsdale.
