Sky Plus Hotels, an affiliate of SkyBridge Arizona, today announced the development of a new dual brand Wingate/Hawthorn Suites hotel at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, located on Sossaman in proximity to terminal operations.

Located on the airport grounds and near ASU’s Polytechnic campus and Chandler-Gilbert Community College, the 127-room hotel will feature one of the largest meeting venues in the area with space for up to 1000 participants} and offer guests both standard midscale and extended stay suite] accommodations.

The hotel will include amenities such as airport shuttle, gym, business center, meeting space, swimming pool. Rooms will be contemporary design in both brand types, with 52 extended stay suite and 75 standard rooms. It joins the industrial and aviation developments underway at SkyBridge Arizona, a 360-acre project that can accommodate 3.5 million square feet of industrial and aerospace/aviation tenants.

The Sky Plus Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Hotel will open sometime in the first quarter of 2022 and is expected to add more than 52 jobs to the Mesa-Queen Creek and surrounding areas.  Contacts for reservations and other hotel information will be made available at a later date.
