AZ Big Media has named Erin Davis associate editor of AZRE: Arizona Commercial Real Estate Magazine.

Davis, a graduate of Park University, has been published in a number of McClatchy Tribune (now Tribune Content Agency) publications, including, The Sacramento Bee, Livewell Nebraska, San Luis Obispo Tribune, The Kansas City Star, Sun Herald, The Idaho Statesman and more. She has also written for Better Living , KC Parent, KC Baby, Multiplicity, MultiplesandMore.com, HoldItBaby.com, HellaWella.com, DoOver.com, Mamajamba.com and MyTurn.com.

“I have a slight obsession with Star Wars,” Davis admits. “Why wouldn’t I? It’s one of the greatest examples of cinematic storytelling. It’s my belief that a story — properly told — is a special effect. Writing doesn’t require bells and whistles to percolate the imagination. Rather, it requires an imagination from the start.”

Pulling together the multiple facets of the commercial real estate industry in Arizona, AZRE: Arizona Commercial Real Estate Magazine reaches out to the largest local and national commercial real estate audience within the Grand Canyon State and beyond. AZRE covers up-to-date happenings within commercial development, brokerage, construction, investment, finance, architecture, property management, real estate law and more as it relates to Arizona. Additionally, AZRE is an active voice within the commercial industry, partnering with such organizations as NAIOP, ABA, ICSC AZ, AIA AZ and Valley Partnership.

“Erin brings a background and skill set that will take AZRE to a new level of depth, insight and personality,” said AZ Big Media Editor in Chief Michael Gossie. “AZRE is the authoritative voice of the commercial real estate industry in Arizona. Erin will be able to take that voice and bring it to life on the pages of AZRE.”

Davis, the mother of three girls, released her first children’s book, “Stick to it Chick,” on April 4.
