On May 7, IKEA Scottsdale at The Promenade, a Plan & order point with Pick-Up, opened its doors, with the company also announcing IKEA Phoenix — a small-format store spanning approximately 75,000 square feet. Customers will be able to choose from 3,000 articles for immediate take-away, primarily consisting of home furnishing accessories and about 75 small furniture items. Larger items like sofas, beds and the entire range will be available to order online, with options for free store pickup or home delivery at a minimal fee.

IKEA Phoenix will feature a new Swedish Deli concept, offering a variety of hot and cold food to enjoy in-store or take home for later. The store will be located in the Village Square II shopping center, located at 4643 E. Cactus Rd., across from the redevelopment of Paradise Valley mall.

Although a smaller footprint than a traditional IKEA store, IKEA Phoenix will include multiple fully furnished room settings to explore. These thoughtfully designed spaces will showcase “local living” solutions, tailored to reflect the unique everyday needs of the Phoenix community. Customers can shop the As-is Department at IKEA Phoenix, offering gently used products, discontinued items and even more affordable home furnishings, helping give our products a second chance as part of the company’s sustainability efforts.

At the IKEA Scottsdale at The Promenade Plan & order point with Pick-upcustomers will have the opportunity to meet with the IKEA store team to plan and order home furnishing solutions that require a bit more help — such as kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms. While customers are unable to take products home that day, IKEA co-workers will arrange for delivery or schedule orders to be picked up from the convenient Pick-up location onsite. Online shoppers will have the option to pick up qualifying IKEA-USA.com orders by selecting IKEA Scottsdale at The Promenade as their preferred pick-up location at checkout.
