The Statesman Group announced today that leasing opportunities are now open for the first phase of Montreux, a $74 million luxury apartment community within the sought-after Desert Ridge neighborhood.

Located on the east side of Deer Valley Road between 52nd and 56th streets, Montreux will be comprised of 335 one-, two- and three-bedroom luxury apartments ranging in size from 805 to 1,518 square feet with rental pricing starting from $1,475 per month. With move-ins expected this summer, Statesman is nearing completion on the first phase which will feature the first of three buildings, 143 residences and a robust lineup of resort-style amenities. A family-owned and operated real estate development company, Statesman owns 50 acres of land within the Desert Ridge master-planned community located on Deer Valley Road between 52nd and 56th streets. With more than $200 million in residential development underway, The Luxe occupies 10 acres on the west side of the property while Montreux and The Manor Village Desert Ridge are situated on the east. They are separated by Toscana of Desert Ridge, Statesman’s nearly-sold-out condominium community.

“For Montreux, we conducted a number of focus groups to determine what prospective residents liked, disliked and wanted to see in the current multifamily market in the Valley and found that storage, sound and parking we’re the three biggest issues often associated with apartments,” said Alana Mann, president and owner of The Statesman Group. “We were able to take that feedback to design and develop Montreux to feature condominium-grade apartments that are larger and unlike anything else in this area with first-to-market, air-conditioned storage for larger items like Christmas trees and golf clubs attached to most units; secure underground parking; and extensive measures put in place to mitigate sound.”

Within the first phase, most residences will feature modern, open living spaces with gourmet kitchens featuring white Quartz countertops, built-in microwave and dishwasher, stainless steel appliances and a walk-in pantry; large walk-in closets; and enclosed underground parking units with additional storage available. Another major attraction for residents is that Montreux is located directly across the street from High Street and adjacent to Desert Ridge Marketplace, giving them access to great dining, shopping and nightlife just steps from the community. Also, the developer of City North recently announced that it is ready to break ground to the east of High Street and is expected to deliver 100,000 square feet of retail, new office buildings, dining and shopping to the Desert Ridge neighborhood.

A grand opening event will be held at the Montreux Leasing Gallery on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 17 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. There will be light bites and refreshments and guests will have the opportunity to view floorplans and secure the best residences with the best views.
