Golf course management, development and marketing firm, Troon, was recently selected by BoardRoom Magazine as the “Club Management Firm of the Year” for 2016 in the publication’s 18th annual “Excellence in Achievement” awards. This marks the third straight year Troon has been honored with this distinction from BoardRoom Magazine.
BoardRoom Magazine, the official publication for the Association of Private Club Directors and the Distinguished Clubs, annually selects outstanding suppliers and consultants, which represent various aspects of course and club operations. Winners are selected for overall excellence in their respective fields, achievements, innovation, vision for future growth and continued impact on private club operations.
“We are honored to be recognized as the ‘Club Management Firm of the Year’ by BoardRoom Magazine,” said Ryan Walls, president, Troon Privé. “It’s a testament to the hard working team of professionals at Troon Privé. Our experts help Troon Privé clubs achieve their operational goals by implementing high-quality standards while providing access to national purchasing programs that aggregate buying power – thus enabling each club to offer the finest playing conditions, personalized service and a luxurious private club experience to their members.”
Troon Privé is the private club division of Troon. Troon Privé’s portfolio includes such private clubs of distinction as BallenIsles in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; Fieldstone in Greenville, Delaware; Silver Creek Valley in San Jose, California; St. James Plantation in Southport, North Carolina; Pronghorn in Bend, Oregon; Ocean Club in Paradise Island, Bahamas; Aloha Golf Club in Marbella, Spain; and Centurion Club in London, England.
“The BoardRoom Awards are the only awards in the private club industry that recognize private clubs’ business partners,” said John Fornaro, publisher of BoardRoom Magazine. “We’re absolutely delighted to recognize their contributions.”
