Today is the day!! It’s the deadline for RED Awards nominations.
Despite COVID-19, it has been a busy time for the commercial real estate industry and AZ Big Media is looking for nominations for the best and most notable projects that were completed in 2020. The nomination process is nearing its Dec. 21 deadline for the 2021 Real Estate Development Awards (RED) — the Academy Awards of commercial real estate — which are given out annually to the impactful work being done throughout Arizona. Nominations can be made online here.
Each year at the annual RED Awards reception, AZ Big Media recognizes the top commercial real estate projects completed the year prior along with the companies and people who made each one possible. Ultimately, one project will win in each of the project categories. In addition, awards for the architecture firm, contractor and developer of the year will be presented. Here are the winners of the 2020 RED Awards.
AZRE will also publish a special feature on the winners and finalists within the March/April issue, but winners will not be announced until the RED Awards reception in March of 2021.
2020 RED Awards, nomination forms must be submitted by Monday, December 21, 2020, to be considered. Eligible projects must also have been completed sometime in 2020.
All nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of commercial real estate professionals, business leaders and the AZRE editorial team. The committee will determine winners from the nominations submitted by the December 21, 2020, deadline. Please email AZRE editor Steve Burks with any questions.
