In a report released by real estate advisory group RCLCO this week, Eastmark earned another top spot among the top 20 best-selling master-planned communities in the nation during the first half of 2016.
Eastmark was ranked No. 11 in the country and No. 1 in Arizona. Vistancia was the only other Arizona masterplanned community included in the list at No. 20.
Eastmark completed 2015 ranked as the 8th fastest selling master-planned community in the nation according to the RCLCO report, and was Arizona’s top selling community. More than 1,200 homes have sold at Eastmark since opening in summer 2013 and sales have continued at a sustained pace.
“Eastmark is pleased that sales have continued at a strong pace in a competitive market. We are fortunate to be located in the Valley’s best-selling and most desirable zip code, while offering high-quality master-planned community living. This year, we added some exciting resident amenities along with community and public programming that is creating a dynamic place to live,” said Dea McDonald, Eastmark’s general manager and a senior vice president of DMB.
Looking ahead at the development plans for Eastmark, McDonald said, “Eastmark is continuously adding new neighborhoods, top builders and amenities as we rapidly grow. We are actively pursuing opportunities that attract businesses to Mesa and our community. With 3,200 acres, in a premier location near transportation, shopping and employers, our mixed-use environment offers the perfect location for employers and retailers.”
According to the RCLCO report, “Its prime location in the center of the East Mesa’s gateway corridor, one of the fastest-growing and economically strongest areas of Phoenix, contributes to its success.”
Phase one of Eastmark is nearly sold out and phase two of the community features local and national homebuilders including CalAtlantic, Maracay, Mattamy, Meritage, Shea, Taylor Morrison, William Ryan, Woodside and Taylor Morrison, adding to the wide variety of floor-plans and products available. AV Home’s active adult community, Encore, is also in active sales and features exclusive amenities for their residents.
This year, Eastmark accelerated the development of some of its premier amenities because of the strong sales in the community. The Bus Stop, an interactive game room, and the resort style community pool opened for residents this year.
Eastmark opened in Mesa, Ariz. just over three years ago and the 2016 season has seen strong interest from buyers wishing to live in this thriving community. Today, more than 3,000 residents call Eastmark home and the community is growing fast, with continuous new phases opening and planned for the near future. Eastmark expects to introduce 7 new neighborhoods over the course of the next 9 months.
