Newland Communities announced that KB Home (NYSE:KBH) closed on 67, 60 feet x 120 feet wide lots in Estrella.
The builder is set to break ground on its “Stone Canyon” neighborhood in the Montecito community in spring of 2016.
The builder plans to introduce six single-story home plans ranging in size from from 1,576 – 2,314 square-feet and two model homes to tour.
Plans will have 3 to 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car garages and 3.0 ENERGY STAR certification in addition to included features such as: granite countertops, tile flooring, natural gas and a tankless water heater.
KB Home’s unique homebuying experience takes the mystery out of buying a new home. There are specific quality checkpoints throughout the construction process before work can continue on the home. In addition, the homebuyer has the opportunity to customize their home with available options and design features to fit their needs.

With its second new neighborhood of 2016, Estrella continues to grow steadily. In January the community announced the return of Beazer Homes with four new home plans in its Overlook neighborhood. Additionally, in order to compensate for steady community growth, Estrella is currently constructing a second residents club, Presidio, set to open this summer. The residents club will feature a wine and beer café, demonstration kitchen, pool, splash pad, fitness center and modern finishes.
