After two years as a virtual event due to COVID-19, the 2022 Real Estate Development (RED) Awards returned in full force as a sold-out crowd celebrated Arizona’s commercial real estate industry at Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort’s Chaparral Conference Center on Thursday, March 10.

“It’s been a crazy year in real estate,” said AZ Big Media Editor in Chief Michael Gossie, who co-hosted the RED Awards. “There are new projects popping up on every corner. New records for sale prices are being set every day. If I sold my house right now, I’d make so much money, I’d be able to buy a sheet of plywood … or fill up my gas tank.”
Sponsors for the 2022 RED Awards included event sponsor CHASSE Building Team, beverage sponsor DP Electric, dessert sponsor Willmeng, and gift sponsor MacQueen & Gottlieb.
RED Awards were presented for projects of the year in 14 different categories. There were also four special awards to conclude the program.
