Residential land is an increasingly expensive commodity in Phoenix’s luxury neighborhoods.
Custom builders are paying premiums for these lots. In some cases, houses are traded purely for land value.
The top five home sales in Phoenix during February each traded for over $11 million and the top two were for newly built homes.
Phoenix saw a $20 million off-market deal on Feb. 27, when a buyer scooped up 6109 E. Maverick Road in Paradise Valley’s Silver Sky community as the home was under construction.
Below are the five priciest home sales as of March 11, according to Homes.com, in the Phoenix metropolitan area for February. The top sales are based on Multiple Listing Service listings on Homes.com, which do not include off-market transactions.

5. $11,300,000
