Sundt Construction, Inc., Vice President Wayne Einbinder was recently promoted to director of the general contractor’s newly established National Projects Group.
In his new role, Einbinder will lead the National Projects Group’s work within the hospitality, criminal justice and federal construction markets on a national level. Pooling top-level talent and resources from each of those markets, Einbinder and his team will be able to deliver exceptional results at a reduced cost to clients. The group supports Sundt’s long-term goals for growth regionally and nationally and will position Sundt as a leader and innovator within these markets and beyond.
“We are focusing on projects where we can be successful by being smarter than our competitors, not just by being riskier,” said Einbinder. “Focusing on being better drives innovation and often leads to cost efficiencies that are realized as savings for our clients.”
Einbinder joined Sundt more than seven years ago as project director. Along with his more than 30 years of industry experience, Einbinder offers a keen ability to identify both the needs of the owner and the contractor to achieve a successful project. With more than $6 billion in projects, Einbinder’s portfolio includes work on all levels of the construction process. He has managed large-scale projects with high-design architects on facilities that remained operational during construction, as well as overseen ventures that occupied tight building envelopes and demanded significant coordination with other contractors and project teams.
Einbinder has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a Professional Engineer,LEED Accredited Professional, and a Designated Design-Build Professional certified by the Design Build Institute of America.
