Wood Partners, LLC announced today the official opening of Alta Scottsdale, a $38 million luxury apartment complex with 218 units located one mile from downtown Scottsdale. The property is already 25 percent full after two months of pre-leasing.

“The apartment homes at Alta Scottsdale, with avant-garde features within practical, comfortable spaces, have proven to be popular,” said Todd Taylor, Wood Partners’ development director for Arizona and Nevada. “It really comes down to an incredible value proposition with thoughtful units and amenities in a prime location.”

Alta Scottsdale, two four-story elevator buildings on 6.5 acres designed by Womack and Hampton, reflects the Old Town neighborhood that surrounds it with floor plans named after cocktails. Tours of the Mojito, the Cosmopolitan and the Mai Tai are offered daily. The one-, two- and three-bedroom units have granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, vinyl plank flooring and many locally sourced materials. The community includes a clubroom and bar area for events and cooking demonstrations, a fitness center and a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired pool area.

With rents 30 percent lower than comparable high-end apartments downtown, Alta Scottsdale offers easy access to shopping, dining and nightlife and better access to freeways and major employment centers. Alta Scottsdale has immediate access to Indian School Road, the primary feeder into downtown. Sky Harbor Airport is 15 minutes away; Scottsdale Air Park, the state’s second largest employer, is 10 minutes away; and downtown Phoenix is 20 minutes away.

Wood Partners Construction Services is the general contractor. Wood Residential Services, Wood Partners’ property management division, is managing the property.

“The onsite sales team is genuine in their enthusiasm to personally assist every new resident in making Alta Scottsdale their home,” Taylor said.
