Denver-based tech firm Galvanize is joining the growing family of technology entrepreneurs at The Monroe Building in downtown Phoenix.

The Denver-based start-up offering training in software development and data science is bringing its educational programs to the Valley and was drawn to the creative environment at The Monroe Building. Galvanize joins other top tech businesses like Phoenix Tech, Gainsight and Allbound at the building.

“Galvanize is one of the most exciting tech companies we have come across,” said Tim O’Neil, a partner with The Monroe Building “so their arrival is an exciting development, not only for The Monroe Building, but the startup scene in Arizona and Phoenix’ CBD,” he said.

The expansion of Galvanize not only attests to the functional and design oriented office space at The Monroe Building but also the building’s progressive technology community. This environment fosters and attracts the growth of STEM jobs, and over the next 10 years, Arizona is projected to be No. 2 in computer science and IT jobs and No. 4 for overall STEM jobs, according to Change the Equation, a non-partisan, CEO-led Washington group that works to improve science, technology, engineering and math learning in the U.S.

Galvanize features workspace for startups and established companies as well as networking. The new space will also build on Galvanize’s innovative partnership with Allstate to train employees.

The tech community has gravitated to The Monroe Building for the combination of interior and exterior aesthetic and functional design, local ownership, ground floor retail amenities and best in class service.

The recently renovated Monroe Building has created a hip first-floor atmosphere that’s not only pedestrian friendly, but also only entirely comprised of local, boutique retailers, including wine, coffee, pilates, high end audio and pizza shops.

Other amenities include free Wi-Fi in the common areas, high speed internet hookup, a mobile app/text valet service for visitor parking and close proximity to the Light Rail, as well as numerous restaurants and hotels within walking distance. The result is the perfect atmosphere for businesses looking to encourage creativity and increase efficiency.
