In keeping with its “Uniquely Southwest” brand, Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort in Oro Valley, Ariz. has opened horse stables and launched “El Conquistador Western Adventures” starting Nov. 4.
The 18-horse stable, located on the resort’s property and run by Pot A Gold Stables, will offer trail rides, riding lessons and family friendly adventures for locals and visitors looking to explore the spectacular Sonoran Desert.
Whether it’s a group trail ride, a romantic sunset ride for two or hayrides and carriage rides for the whole family, a custom experience is available no matter the occasion. Guests can also arrange a cowboy breakfast before hitting the trail or a group cookout to end the day at Last Territory, the resort’s rugged, outdoor Western-themed venue. This offering is also a great add-on to a family reunion, a conference team-building activity or for a wedding rehearsal party.
“We are thrilled to partner with Pot A Gold Stables to offer guided horseback rides along some of Tucson’s most sought-after trails. Our expert staff is extremely knowledgeable and will be on-site to help guests and their families select an El Conquistador Western Adventure that’s perfect for them,” says Ghee Alexander, general manager of Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort. “This enhancement comes on the heels of the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador’s largest renovation in its 34-year history. With uniquely Southwest experiences at the core of the refresh, we think the stables will be a significant chapter in the resort’s storied history.”
El Conquistador Western Adventures will be available 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. daily. Prices for a guided horseback ride start from $60 for one hour, $75 for 90 minutes and $100 for two hours. Prices for a sunset trail ride start at $80 for one hour, $95 for 90 minutes and $120 for two hours. Horseback riding lessons are also available to the public starting from $75 for a one-hour lesson.
