Abrazo Mesa Hospital, opening this spring, is now recruiting for staff and will host a job fair Feb. 5 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at sister hospital Abrazo Central Campus. Interviews will be held for positions in nursing, allied health, dietary, housekeeping and other areas.
Currently in the final stages of construction, Abrazo Mesa Hospital will focus on providing emergency room services and less complex inpatient procedures. It will include a 12-bed emergency department, an operating room and eight inpatient rooms, along with additional services.
Abrazo Mesa Hospital is expected to create approximately 50 full-time equivalent clinical and support staff jobs. The hospital is located at 5750 E. Baseline Rd.
The facility’s emergency department will be open around the clock and staffed by board-certified emergency physicians. Additional services will include surgery, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, pharmacy and other outpatient services in the 32,500 square foot building.

Abrazo Mesa Hospital is the first Abrazo Community Health Network location in the East Valley.
