Arizona Humane Society
The Arizona Humane Society is continuing its life-saving work for the most vulnerable animals in its trauma center, rescue and cruelty investigation program, Bottle Baby and Puppy Parvo intensive care units, and more.

The Arizona Pet Project
The Arizona Pet Project’s main goal is to keep and prevent pet homelessness by providing services, resources and support to families. The nonprofit has seen significant uptick in requests for help with pet food, pet deposit and rent assistance, temporary boarding (so people can access medical treatment), and emergency veterinary care.

Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS)
Located on the Human Services Campus, CASS provides shelter for the most vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness, including seniors, those who are HIV positive, and others with compromised immune systems. The shelter reaches capacity nightly.

Circle the City
Circle the City provides high-quality healthcare to people experiencing homelessness, including the only medical respite program in the state of Arizona, which has become a model for the country.

Community Food Connections is the nonprofit that operates the Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market and the Small Farm Fund.

Elaine
Sometime the biggest need (and barrier) for those experiencing homelessness is transportation. Elaine provides empathetic and accessible transportation, which reduces barriers to healthcare, food, employment, housing, court appearances, school and much more.

Genesis City
Genesis Academy serves high-risk, over-age, under-credited and out-of-school youth.

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona
Goodwill is dedicated to ending poverty through the power of work — taking a holistic approach to employment by providing job seekers the tools to feel confident, purpose-driven and successful. Habitat for Humanity – Central Arizona
Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Human Services Campus
Human Services Campus clients are some of the most vulnerable in the city, including those who have compromised physical and mental health, seniors, and people with disabilities. Today and everyday, there is a need for more shelter, more housing and more homelessness prevention. Critically needed items include: liquid hand soap; trash bags; sanitizing wipes; bottled water; gloves (nitrile exam powder-free, 15- millimeter thickness); deodorant; toothpaste; toothbrushes; feminine hygiene products; and adult diapers.

Justa Center Phoenix
Justa Center provides life-sustaining resources, services and support to assist seniors experiencing homelessness. Justa offers a a number of programs including a nurses clinic, day center, outreach and much more. The goal is to assist seniors on their path to housing and prevent a return to homelessness. Current needs include hoodies — sizes medium to 4XL, gloves, individual-sized sanitizing wipes, notepads, index cards, stamps, lip balm, and individual packs of tissues. Nourish Phoenix
Nourish PHX (formerly ICM Food and Clothing Bank) offers food boxes, clothing, shoes, toiletries, education and employment assistance. Critically needed items include: tuna or canned meats; nut butters and jelly; spaghetti and sauce; rice; cereal and oatmeal; baby foods, wipes and diapers; toiletries and clothes. Ryan House
Ryan House offers pediatric palliative and respite care to children and their families as they navigate life-limiting or end-of-life journeys. It is the only organization of its kind in the Southwest, and one of three in the country. All services are provided at no cost to families. Ryan House is supported 100 percent by charitable contributions from donors in the community.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is dedicated to feeding, clothing, housing and healing individuals who have nowhere else to turn for help. Monetary donations are needed to help keep services in operation, modify services, and aid families coping with income disruption, loss of housing, food shortages, etc.

Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS
The Southwest Center serves individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS through prevention, education, client-centered services and coordinated care.
Ways to help: Grocery store gift cards to help clients who cannot afford food; drug store gift cards to help recently-unemployed clients access medications; connections to legitimate work-from-home employment; donations of hotel room stays for clients at-risk of homelessness; therapists willing to donate remote sessions for clients experiencing anxiety; financial contributions for rent and utilities, or to help where the need is greatest.

St. Joseph the Worker
St. Joseph the Worker (SJW) is a nonprofit that helps people return to the workforce and become self-sufficient, productive members of society. Whether through resume preparation, mock interviews, internet access, new clothing, transportation assistance and more — SJW helps eliminate the barriers to gaining employment.

UMOM New Day Centers
UMOM New Day Centers is a local nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness for families, single women and youth in the community. The focus is to restore hope, rebuild lives, and end homelessness by providing emergency shelter, supportive services, and addressing barriers that prevent successful employment and permanent housing. Clients are provided with a variety resources, such as employment workshops, life skills classes, childcare, healthcare and much more. In addition to providing shelter to hundreds of families, women and youth daily, UMOM also offers more than 400 affordable housing units across the Valley, with another 90 units opening in May for seniors (with preference to veterans).

Wildfire
Wildfire is a leader in providing programs and supporting others committed to ending poverty. Recently, Wildfire successfully partnered with the City of Phoenix to ensure the efficient distribution of short-term rental assistance to those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a whole, Wildfire advocates for fair practices, collaborates on policy issues, and supports community-action initiatives that will not only ease the effects of poverty, but stop it before it starts.
