Cassidy Turley completed the sale of 3335 W. Flower St, a 17,500 SF, Class B flex/industrial building at 35th Ave. and Osborn Rd. in Phoenix.
Academy of Mathematics and Science South of Tucson purchased the property for $1.022M ($58.46 psf) from J Firpo of Phoenix. Justin LeMaster, Gary Anderson and Mark Tuite with Cassidy Turley’s Industrial Group represented the seller. Ryan Timpani, Todd Noel and Keith Lambeth of Colliers represented the buyer.
“This building was an ideal location for a charter/trade school facility,” LeMaster said. “It sits on 1.19 acres and includes a basketball court and canopy-covered break area”
Built in 1983, the property was vacant at the time of sale.
Academy of Math and Science is a Tucson-based charter school with a focus on math and sciences. The charter school currently has two Tucson locations teaching grades K-8.
The new Flower Street location will be the first in Metro Phoenix and is planning to open for classes in the fall of 2013.
