In a continued effort to inform and inspire customers to make changes in their electricity use, SRP will help unsuspecting customers alleviate the heat with a frozen treat and spread the message of energy efficiency.

The SRP-branded popsicle truck will make the rounds two to three times a week in SRP’s territory from July 25 to Sept. 5. Free frozen treats will be handed out at unannounced times and locations such as parks, hospitals and park and ride lots to provide unsuspecting customers with a “feel-good moment” during the heat of the day.
“This tour is part of SRP’s ‘This is How Good It Feels to Save’ energy-efficiency campaign, which launched in 2013,” said Cindy Marzofka, director of Marketing and Brand Management. “We continually engage customers in new and memorable ways to inspire them to save energy and money.”
