Austin Commercial promoted Jim Lauer to regional manager of the company’s Southwest region.
As regional manager, Lauer will continue to be responsible for management of Austin’s Phoenix office and projects throughout Arizona as well as forming strategic initiatives to expand Austin’s presence in the Southwest.
Lauer joined Austin Commercial in 2003 as senior project manager for the Phoenix Sky Harbor Rental Car Center. Since then he has been responsible for many large, complex construction projects, including Sky Harbor International Airport’s security checkpoints, ASU’s Taylor Place Dormitories, and most recently 14 restaurants for HMS Host at Sky Harbor.
