On the strength of 80 homeruns, the Arizona Diamondbacks are in first place in Major League Baseball’s National League West Division at the midway point of the season. And thanks to Fulton Homes, those 80 homeruns have netted the Central Arizona Mountain Rescue Association (CAMRA) $12,000.
This season during all the 150 games broadcast on Fox Sports Arizona the Tempe-based homebuilder is donating $150 for every D’Backs home run during the Fulton Homes Home Run program. All donations go to CAMRA, which along with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Mountain Rescue (MCSO-MR) team, is an expertly trained, technical rescue team dedicated to saving lives through search and rescue operations, wilderness emergency medical services and outdoor safety programs.
“Over the years Fulton Homes has been committed to making the Valley of the Sun a better place to live and work,” said Fulton Homes CEO Doug Fulton. “We are proud of our home team being in first place, knowing the Diamondbacks’ success is helping others who need rescued and emergency medical services.”
