Live music, awesome burritos, stylish t-shirts and a leisurely Arizona hike. What could be better on spring Saturday morning in the desert? How about all of this, plus an opportunity to support Arizonans who are getting a fresh start at life, thanks to the programs offered by local nonprofit St. Joseph the Worker? APS employee and St. Joseph the Worker board member, Jim Piotrowski, says the organization gives people a hand-up, not a hand-out. “It’s about uplifting people. What I like about this organization is that they are really helping people who are ready to help themselves.”
