At the e-Week Gala, the Greater Phoenix Area Engineers Week Committee awarded Dibble Engineering’s Christine Fanchi the 2013 Outstanding Young Engineer of the Year award for her leadership and dedication to the engineering profession.

Fanchi has been a Transportation Engineer with Dibble Engineering for 9 years. She received her Civil Engineering degree from Auburn University and has served her profession and community through her leadership, volunteerism, and enthusiastic determination.

With more than 13 years of Transportation Engineering experience in Arizona, Christine’s experience includes roadway design and traffic design for municipalities across the state. Her professional goals include building stronger business development opportunities through professional organizational opportunities, project contacts, and personal relationships. She is an active member of many professional organizations, including ASCE, ACEC, and the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

National Engineers Week is dedicated to furthering education and importance of the engineering profession. Greater Phoenix Area Engineers Week was celebrated through educational outreach programs, a science fair event at the Arizona Science Center, and an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding individuals in the profession.
