Az Business magazine and BestCompaniesAZ have announced the organizations that will be honored at the 2019 Arizona’s Most Admired Companies (MAC) Awards.
“This is the 10th year for the MAC program,” said Az Business Editor in Chief Michael Gossie. “This annual event quickly gained credibility as the most prestigious awards program in the state. And this year was the most competitive yet. So the companies that have been named Most Admired Companies truly represent the best of Arizona business.”
The MAC awards are designed to recognize the contributions and impact that exceptional Arizona employers bring to our state. Companies were judged based on their performance in customer opinion, innovation, leadership excellence, social responsibility, and workplace culture. In addition to the 40 companies that will be recognized as MAC winners, there will be 10 spotlight awards given to companies who have excelled during the program’s first 10 years.
“This is the most comprehensive and prestigious annual corporate awards program in Arizona,” said Denise Gredler, founder and CEO of BestCompaniesAZ, and co-founder of the MAC program. “To win, a business must demonstrate excellence in its leadership, corporate culture, vision, innovation, customer relations and community engagement through corporate social responsibility programs. Most Admired Companies are truly the best of the best.”
The Most Admired Companies for 2019 will be profiled in the September/October issue of Az Business and honored at an awards dinner. This year’s celebration of Arizona’s Most Admired Companies will be held September 12, 2019, at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa. Sponsors of the event include Washington Federal, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Charles Schwab, and Mobile Mini.
