Aimee Jeffries named marketing manager for Colliers
Aimee Jeffries, an experienced professional of commercial real estate marketing in Metro Phoenix, has been named marketing manager with Colliers International in Arizona. Jeffries comes to Colliers from Macerich, one of the country’s leading owners, operators and developers of major retail real estate.

Hillary Gagnon elected to state bar executive council
Jennings Haug Cunningham announced that Hillary Gagnon, a partner with the firm, has been elected to the Executive Council of the State Bar of Arizona’s Probate and Trust Section.
The State Bar of Arizona’s Probate and Trust Section considers all matters of legal interest relating to wills, estates and probate, including the consideration of legislation pertaining to guardianships, conservatorships and the law with respect to Powers of Attorney or Living Wills. In addition, the Section promotes the legal education of the members of the Bar and the public about probate, trust law and related topics throughout the state of Arizona.
Ms. Gagnon’s practice focuses estate planning, probate, and probate litigation. She represents individuals and fiduciaries with guardianships, conservatorships and post death administration of trusts and estates. Ms. Gagnon’s estate planning work consists of assisting clients to develop and prepare a personalized estate plan appropriate for their individual and family needs. As a litigator, Ms. Gagnon is experienced in all aspects of probate matters, contested estates and trusts, vulnerable adult litigation, contested guardianships and conservators and commercial disputes.
In addition to her position on the Executive Council, Ms. Gagnon is also a board member of the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section and a member of the American Bar Association.
Jennings Strouss welcomes Alexander J. Egbert
Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, P.L.C., a leading Phoenix-based law firm, announced that Alexander J. Egbert has joined the firm as an Associate in the Automotive Industry Department.

Prior to joining Jennings Strouss, Egbert focused his practice on complex commercial litigation and practiced for three years with a Phoenix law firm. He defended insurers in coverage disputes and against bad faith claims. Egbert also advised businesses on accident liability and management disputes. He worked with the Florence project in juvenile and immigration court to get special immigration juvenile status (SIJS) for a minor. Egbert earned his B.A. in International Relations from Brigham Young University, cum laude and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He was awarded “Top 50 Pro Bono Attorney” by the Arizona Foundation of Legal Services & Education in 2018. Egbert filed an amicus brief in April 2018 in the 7th Circuit on behalf of several tax law professors in a religious liberty dispute regarding the parsonage exemption.
Marki Stewart joins Coppersmith Brockelman

Diane’s career includes eight years in the Arizona House of Representatives, four years on the Arizona Corporation Commission where she was the first women elected to serve. She also was acting President of Phoenix Children’s Hospital and founding President of WESTMARC.
Prior to joining West-MEC, Diane was Senior Vice President of the Arizona State University Foundation for four years. She is a founding member of Leadership West, Fighter Country Partnership & Friends of the West Valley Recreation Corridor. Diane remains active in many civic organizations and is a former chair of the Surprise Regional Chamber of Commerce.
