Landmark Title grows team
Landmark Title Assurance Agency continues to expand its team. The Phoenix-based company recently added two new positions, hiring DeAnn Newhouse-Gilleland as vice president of escrow operations and Frieda Jimenez to join as a commercial escrow officer.
Newhouse-Gilleland has spent nearly two decades working in the title and escrow industry. In her new role, she will oversee compliance, policy and procedures for the company, working with the branches throughout the Valley. Jimenez brings more than 24 years of industry experience to the Landmark Title team and has in-depth knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and the nuances of title and escrow.

Rose Law Group names partner
Rose Law Group pc, the largest woman-led law firm in Arizona history, has named Logan Elia a partner.
Elia has been with Rose Law Group since 2014. He is a national leader in cyber law including cyber defamation and online intellectual property infringements.

Withey Morris welcomes Hannah Bleam
Withey Morris, a prominent Arizona land use law firm for more than 20 years, brought on planner Hannah Bleam, AICP from the City of Phoenix.
Hannah is a planner specializing in land use, site development, community outreach, and entitlements. Her unique experience in both the public and nonprofit sectors have provided her with a skill set equipped to handle all aspects of the land use and development process.

Glendale names Djordje Pavlovic as permanent building official
The city of Glendale announced the permanent selection of Djordje Pavlovic as the city’s Building Official. Pavlovic joined the Glendale team in 2014 as a Structural Plans Examiner.
Pavlovic brings more than 15 years of experience in the design and construction technology field to his new position. As the Building Official for the Building Safety Division, Pavlovic will manage activities and operations of the Development Services Center, Plan Review and Building Inspection Groups. He will oversee the development and administration of city policies and procedures and interpret and enforce city building codes.
“The safety of our residences and commercial buildings is a high priority for us and we are fortunate to have Djordje’s wealth of experience leading the way during this critical time of robust economic growth in our community,” said Glendale City Manager Kevin Phelps. “He has demonstrated during his time with Glendale that he has the skills needed to oversee this important area that serves our citizens and businesses.”
