The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce announces board

The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the election of its FY2019/20 Board of Director’s Leadership. Doreen Reinke, Vice President, Operations, Nationwide Insurance has been elected as Chair of the Board of Directors. Reinke was elected with a slate of officers as follows;

According to Chamber President Mark Stanton, the new Chamber Board Officers will continue the legacy that makes the Scottsdale Chamber strong and an important stakeholder in the community.

According to Doreen Reinke, The Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce serves an important role for the Community. “I am honored to serve as Board Chair of the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber serves an important role in business advocacy and supports the quality of life for our community,” said Reinke.

Melissa Ho makes Under 40 Hot List

Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli had three of its attorneys  included in Benchmark Litigation’s Under 40 Hot List for 2019.

Melissa S. Ho of the firm’s Phoenix office received the distinction for the fourth year in a row.

She was named together with Lauren E. Tucker McCubbin and Robert V. Spake, Jr. of the firm’s Kansas City office.

The Under 40 Hot List is billed as an “exclusive ranking of the most talented U.S. litigators” 40 years of age or younger.  Benchmark uses a process of peer review and case examination compiled over many months to recognize this new generation of up-and-coming attorneys.

Melissa S. Ho is a shareholder and trial attorney in the firm’s Government Investigations Practice, who focuses on the defense of False Claims Act matters, government investigations, business litigation and criminal defense at the state and federal levels. As a former prosecutor, she is well versed in internal investigations and high-profile matters. Ho works as a liaison between business and litigation professionals in the United States and Asia to formulate plans in response to contract disputes and government inquiries. This is Ho’s fourth-consecutive year on the Under 40 Hot List.

Rita Meiser elected to serve as board president

Arizona adoption attorney Rita A. Meiser has been elected to serve as the President of the Board of Directors of Aid to Adoption of Special Kids (AASK.)  AASK supports lasting and permanent relationships by connecting children in foster care with foster families, adoptive families, kin, siblings, and adult mentors.  Meiser is a founding member and Past President of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys and has provided legal counseling and representation on behalf of prospective adoptive families, birth parents and adoption agencies for over 30 years.
