Strategy Financial Group hires Sean Nicol
The Phoenix-based independent financial advisory firm, Strategy Financial Group, has experienced steady growth in the first half of 2018 and recently expanded its team with the hiring of Sean Nicol as a financial advisor. In this role, Nicol will work alongside the current team of advisors to offer a broader range of services in the retirement planning process and provide more comprehensive financial strategies.

An Arizona native, born and raised in Phoenix, Nicol recently returned to the state with his family after his six seasons playing baseball for the Washington Nationals.
Washington Federal announces newest branch manager
Washington Federal’s Paradise Valley branch, which is located at 13648 N. Tatum Blvd., has hired Mark Thoma as its branch manager. In his role, Thoma will be responsible for providing team leadership, creating an environment for team collaboration to exceed goals while aiding in personal growth amongst team members and taking a holistic perspective of client finances to meet their individual financial goals to ensure excellent client experience.
Thoma brings experience as a UBII business developer at OneAZ Credit Union, as a senior personal banker at National Bank of Arizona and as a personal banker at BMO Harris Bank.
Jason Jordan promoted at W.E. O’Neil
W.E. O’Neil Construction Co. of Arizona announced the promotion of Jason Jordan to General Superintendent. The announcement was made by Bryan Dunn, President of W.E. O’Neil Construction Co. of Arizona.
“Jason’s aptitude and contributions have been invaluable and he embodies many of the values of our company. His vision and leadership will continue to strengthen our team” said Dunn.
Jason joined W.E. O’Neil earlier this year as a Senior Project Superintendent. His nineteen years of construction industry experience in site management, operations and safety compliance made him a natural fit for the current promotion. Prior to joining W.E. O’Neil, Jason served in the roles of Senior Project Superintendent and Project Superintendent for other construction companies in California and Arizona.
NAI Horizon hires Jay Olson
NAI Horizon has bolstered its industrial properties footprint with the hiring of supply-chain specialist Jay Olson, who joins the firm as an Associate.
Olson comes to NAI Horizon after 25 years as President and Director of Operations for Sun Pac International. He grew up in the manufacturing industry, working alongside his father for most of his life. His experience includes sales and manufacturing management, facilities operations and management, supply chain expertise, and research and development.
He is an industrial and manufacturing specialist at NAI Horizon. His previous experience also includes the buying and selling of industrial and manufacturing properties for his family’s business since 2001.
“Jay’s background in manufacturing allows him to add value with his unique perspective,” said Terry Martin-Denning, Principal and CEO of NAI Horizon. “He understands industrial real estate from the user and owner standpoint and also from the manufacturing and business operational aspect.”
